Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Vice President and MLC Ghulam Nabi Monga has stressed the party workers to complete the membership drive immediately to further strengthen the party at the grass roots level.
Addressing party workers in Baramulla he said, “To strengthen the party further, it is imperative to complete the process of membership drive as early as possible. Congress is growing stronger day by day, as the Party has never believed in hollow slogans and false propaganda.”

He expressed confidence that Congress in the State is a vibrant situation and people have full faith in the Party, as they know that Congress alone has never indulged in double speak.
The Congress MLC also urged the government to release the wages of dailywagers, casual labours and need-based workers ahead of Eid. “These poor people have been denied their wages for months and government must ensure that the release their wages ahead of the Eid so that they can celebrate the festival without any problems,” he demanded.
