Srinagar Mar 03 (KNS): Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Gazanfar Ali today conducted city tour.
During the tour, he visited various areas of the city including Achan Landfill Site and reviewed sanitation and other allied functions of the Corporation.

The Commissioner was informed that for scientific management of garbage various measures are being taken at the site. He directed to increase capacity of Mechanical Segregator and composting plant being installed at the site.
He directed the concerned to ensure waste segregation at source throughout the city in a phased manner. (KNS)
