KULGAM, DECEMBER 05 (KNS): Commissioner Secretary Floriculture, Parks and Gardens, Sheikh Fayaz on Monday presidies over ambitious programme launched by the government ‘My Town My Pride’ function here in Yaripora of Kulgam district.
On the occasion,the visiting officer Sheikh Fayaz, listened to issues and concerns of the people besides taking stock of development scenario in these area.
Sheikh Fayaz also interacted with the people to listen to their issues for redressal.
He also inspected stalls installed by different departments to aware people about their schemes and programmes.
On the occasion, colourful and mesmerizing cultural programmes were also presented by the professionals groups and schools students. He later then distributed cricket kits among the youth.
In the program, awareness sessions regarding government schemes, sanitation drives, plantation drives, distribution of Land pass books and other activities were carried out.
Commissioner Secretary floriculture later took rounds of stalls and counters, he appreciated the arrangements made by district administration Kulgam.(KNS)
