Srinagar, Dec 3 (KNS): Minimum temperatures across Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh regions continued their downward trend on Wednesday, with most stations recording sub-zero levels in the Valley, according to data.
The central Kashmir’s Srinagar district recorded a minimum of minus 4.4°C, while Qazigund registered minus 3.6°C and Pahalgam minus 4.6°C. Kupwara settled at minus 4.1°C, Kokernag minus 1.2°C and Gulmarg minus 2.6°C.
Saffron town Pampore recorded minus 5.0°C, Srinagar Airport minus 4.8°C, Awantipora minus 4.2°C and Budgam minus 4.8°C.
Anantnag and Baramulla both recorded minus 5.3°C, Bandipora minus 4.4°C, Pulwama minus 5.5°C and Shopian minus 5.9°C. Ganderbal stood at minus 3.0°C, Sonamarg minus 3.6°C, while Zethan Rafiabad recorded minus 4.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel9°C. Figures for Kulgam and Zojila Pass were not available.
In the Jammu region, Jammu city recorded 8.1°C, while Banihal came in at minus 0.7°C and Bhaderwah at minus 0.2°C.
Batote registered 3.3°C, Katra 7.6°C and Kathua 7.8°C. The Jammu Airport station logged 8.7°C.
Udhampur recorded 4.0°C, Ramban 4.1°C, Samba 2.5°C, Rajouri 1.4°C, Kishtwar 3.5°C, Reasi 6.0°C and Doda 3.2°C, the data showed.
In Ladakh, Leh recorded a minimum of minus 7.0°C, while Kargil settled at minus 5.6°C and Nubra Valley at minus 4.7°C.
Officials said night temperatures are expected to remain low in the coming days.(KNS).
