Banihal, May 02 (KNS): Describing PDP-BJP coalition government as complete failure, former minister and member legislative assembly (MLA) from Banihal Vikar Rasool wani said that present PDP BJP regime has failed to address issues confronting people and has created the environment chaos and confusion among the people of the state.
MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani along with the secretary Pradesh Congress Committee Imtiyaz Ahmed Khanday and other senior leaders including Farooq Ahmed Katoch, Haji Mohd Yousuf and others was addressing huge public rally at Senabati Paristan here today, where thousands of locals from adjoining areas gave warm reception to their local MLA on his extensive visit of the area.
Locals hail and appreciate the efforts of Vikar Rasool Wani for bringing the backward back ward corners of Senabati Paristan on developmental map and also appreciate his concern for projecting Senabati for up-gradation to the level of Higher Secondary School, which was the long pending demand of area.
While addressing large gathering Vikar Rasool Wani said that Congress is committed to resolve the issues confronting people and to fight against discrimination.
Taking stock of the overall socio-political situation emerging due to “misrule” by PDP BJP Coalition government Congress MLA from Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani expressed deep concern over the multiple issues confronting people, like war like situation in Kashmir valley and communalizing the Kathua rape and murder case by BJP, he added that present government has created environment of fair and lawlessness in the state and irresponsible statements of people running the affairs has creating the feeling of helplessness among the people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that the Modi led government at the centre has failed to fulfill a single commitment with the people and has brought miseries for the common man due to unprecedented price hike in the country. He described the coalition government as total failure on all fronts and causing unrest and untold miseries to each and every section of the society due to its wrong policies and assured the people that Congress would continue to play its role of a responsible and vibrant opposition to highlight the failures of the government and make it accountable to the people of the state.
Earlier Senior Congress Leader Imtiyaz Ahmed Khanday lashed out at the PDP-BJP government in the state for its failure on all fronts and vitiating the atmosphere of peace and harmony in the state due to their wrong policies. He said that two power hungry forces in the state (PDP & BJP) having nothing common in their ideology, have joined hands for the sake of power leaving aside all important commitments with the people. He said both Centre and State Government make certain issues to divert the attention of general public from their failures but people are not fool, they will teach them lesson at appropriate time.
