Kulgam, Aug 23 (KNS) : The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Kulgam, Dr. Shaukat Hussain Parray, on Saturday conducted a surprise inspection of several clinical laboratories and medical shops across the district.

Accompanied by the District Health Officer (DHO), the CMO scrutinized documents, licenses, and compliance records of the establishments to ensure they were operating as per medical guidelines.

During the drive, three laboratories were sealed for violating norms.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelStrict warnings were also issued to others found flouting regulations. Authorities emphasized that such malpractice would not be tolerated in any circumstance.

Notably, several laboratory owners shut down their establishments during the inspection after failing to produce valid documents.

The health department has assured that similar surprise inspections will continue in the district to safeguard public health and enforce strict compliance with medical norms.(KNS)
