Srinagar, June 10 (KNS): Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has paid rich tributes late Mirza Mohammad Afzal Beigh on his 34th death anniversary.
The Chief Minister said Mirza Mohammad Afzal Beigh would be remembered for a long time to come for the historic role played by him during his lifetime by serving the state in various capacities. Mehbooba said he was a torch bearer for Jammu and Kashmir who worked all along for the welfare of the people of the State. She said late Beigh was an astute politician, down to earth human being and a person richly endowed with faculty of wit, humor and satire. (KNS)
