CM Omar stated that the decision would significantly strengthen connectivity in remote and far-flung areas, ensuring better access to essential services and accelerating overall development in the Union Territory.
The PMGSY-I has been instrumental in providing all-weather road connectivity to unconnected villages across the country. The extension aims to address delays caused by challenging geographical and climatic conditions in the border region. (KNS)
