Says teachings of Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA) a beacon of harmony and piety
Srinagar, Oct 19 (KNS) : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Sunday extended his warm greetings to the people on the annual Urs of Sheikh-ul-Alam (RA), also known as Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA).
In his felicitation message, the Chief Minister said that the message of Alamdar-e-Kashmir remains deeply relevant in contemporary times as it has been through the ages. He described Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA) as a symbol of communal harmony, unity and spiritual enlightenment, whose teachings continue to inspire people across faiths.

The Chief Minister also prayed for peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, urging them to follow the path of compassion, simplicity and tolerance as shown by Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA).(KNS)
