Srinagar, Jun 1 (KNS): Dr Mir Shahnawaz, a noted dermatologist and hair transplant surgeon, was on Monday conferred with the ‘Best Dermatologist & Hair Transplant Surgeon’ award by Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at an official ceremony here.
The award was presented during an event held at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in the presence of senior officials from the health and administrative sectors.
Dr Shahnawaz, who is the Founder and Director of Dermis Skin Laser & Hair Transplant Clinic in Srinagar, has been credited with introducing advanced laser platforms, minimally invasive aesthetic procedures, and modern hair restoration techniques to the region.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister congratulated Dr Shahnawaz and acknowledged the role of medical professionals in enhancing specialised healthcare services in Jammu & Kashmir.
In his acceptance remarks, Dr Shahnawaz dedicated the award to his patients and reiterated his commitment to upgrading clinical standards in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
