Srinagar, Oct 26 (KNS): Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Kashmir's legendary singer, Raj Begum, who passed away today in Srinagar.
In her condolence message, the Chief Minister while expressing grief over the loss of Kashmir’s treasured female voice, termed Raj Begum’s demise as an end of a great era in Kashmir's musical history and a huge loss for the State.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has condoled the demise of the wife of former Minister Mr Pyare Lal Handoo.

The Chief Minister has also expressed profound grief over the demise of Sadhya Arora, son of senior BJP leader and MLC Ramesh Arora.
