Cluster University of Jammu Collaborates with MY Bharat for Experiential Learning Programme

 Jammu, May 21 (KNS) : A delegation from Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), Jammu & Kashmir, led by Shri Nitin Hangloo, State Director (I/c), called on the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Cluster University of Jammu, Prof. K.S. Chandrasekar, to discuss collaboration for promoting youth engagement and experiential learning opportunities for students.

 
The interaction centered on the implementation of the Experiential Learning Programme (ELP) under MY Bharat, an initiative of the Government of India designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical exposure through active engagement with government departments and developmental activities.
 
Under the proposed initiative, 20 students from Cluster University of Jammu would be identified for a hands-on training internship during the forthcoming summer vacation, enabling them to gain practical exposure and real-world experience in different government sectors, alongside certifications with credit values.

During the meeting, the Dean of Academic Affairs at Cluster University of Jammu, Dr. Twinkle Suri, assured enthusiastic student participation in the programme, emphasizing that such initiatives would significantly enhance students’ employability, professional competence, leadership abilities, and experiential learning in alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy.
 
The MY Bharat team also shared details regarding the proposed pilot implementation of ELP in collaboration with various government departments, including the Directorate of Census Operations and the Department of Tourism.
 
The delegation included Shri Sushil Singh Charak, Shri Vivek Kumar, and Shri Anmol Bajaj of MY Bharat Jammu. The meeting concluded on a positive note, with a shared commitment to strengthening youth engagement and experiential learning opportunities for students. (KNS)
