Srinagar, Jul 28 (KNS): PDF General Secretary Abdul Qayoom Mir and senior political leader from Pulwama has said that the governor administration should clear apprehensions created by the deployment of additional security forces and the anxieties about scrapping of Article 35A.
In a statement to KNS, Qayoom said the security officials and the BJP's statements on deployments have fuelled speculations.
He said that while BJP has said the deployment is for next assembly elections, the officials called it a routine exercise.

He further said the sending additional security forces to the state make no sense when the government claims it has controlled rise in militancy in Kashmir.
"Centre government must change its mindset that it can address the Kashmir issue by military methods. For peace in Kashmir, political dialogue must be initiated," he said. (KNS)
