Srinagar, Mar 07 (KNS): Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer A Khan on Saturday announced suspension of class work in government and private schools upto primary level in Srinagar, Baramullah, Budgam and Bandipora.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), an order was issued from the office of Div Com which announces suspension of class work in government and private educational institutions till further orders.
“Class work to remain suspended in government and private schools upto primary level in four districts which include Srinagar, Baramulla, Budgam and Bandipora”, order reads.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Shahid Iqbal Chwodhary in a tweet said, “All primary schools in District Srinagar shall remain closed till further orders by administration”.
Earlier in a day, government also announced suspension of all primary level educational institutes in Jammu and Samba district as a “precautionary measure” to deal with Corona Virus threat. (KNS).
