Baramulla, Dec 13 (KNS): Hashmat Saliem, from Ghat Palhalan a Class 3 student of Doon International School, Singpora, Baramulla, has won the gold medal at the State Muay Thai Championship 2025–26, held at Jammu University, bringing pride to his school, academy and family.
Despite his young age, Hashmat displayed strong skill, discipline and confidence during the championship, emerging as the top performer in his category. He trains regularly at Kayi Sports Academy, Palhallan, where he has been groomed under the guidance of experienced coaches.

Congratulating the young champion, appreciation was also extended to his coaches Nasir Farooq Hashmat, Head Coach Mohd Faisal Rather, and the entire Kayi Sports Academy for their guidance and support. His family was also praised for encouraging him to pursue sports at an early age.
