Class 10, 12 exams;

'Failure to announce proper plan for exams regrettable '

Srinagar, Nov 07 (KNS): Days after the Board of School Education (BOSE) threw ball in students’ court; the students of class 10 and 12 who are scheduled to appear in the exams are confused over the government decision.
The students said the authorities have failed to announce proper plan of such decision.
Notably, BOSE had announced choice for class 10 and class 12 students to appear in examinations, as per their interest, in November 2016 or March 2017.
However, the authorities made it clear that students who are interested to appear in full syllabus will be given an opportunity to appear in exams of both classes in March 2017.
Meanwhile, the students said, “The authorities by announcing such kind of statements have confused the students. They should announce a proper strategy regarding their announcement so that we could decide anything thoroughly.”
They said if the authorities are giving choice to the students to appear in exams in March next year, then they should also announce whether they are going to take classes of students who will appear in the exams in March 2017 or not. “We have been left on god’s mercy. Let the government come clear over the issue. Such statement seems to have been made public to confuse students,” the students said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Students told KNS that “We have been demanding deferment of exams to complete our syllabus and if the authorities will not take our classes then the decision will be no more favourable for us. The half-decision can put the career of thousands of students at stake.”
“Besides, we are yet to complete practical works and the authorities must take our practical classes. In case the authorities will not take our classes, their announcement will be a futile exercise then,” students added.
They later asked the higher ups to come clean over such issues so that the students could take aspiring decision over appearing in exams. (KNS)
