Srinagar, Jun 15 (KNS): Clashes erupted between youth and forces in Batamaloo area of Srinagar after the burial of Tanveer’s body in martyr’s graveyard.
Tanveer Sultan Sheikh, 31, of Ibrahim Colony Bemina was killed in Kud “gunfight” on Monday.
Eye-witnesses said that as soon as the Tanveer’s body was buried, scores of youth took to streets while chanting anti-India, pro-freedom slogans.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“Police resorted to tear smoke shells to disperse the agitating protesters who were throwing stones to them,” they said.
Pertinently, thousands of people attended the funeral procession of Tanver who was buried in martyr’s graveyard n Batamaloo where is brother, Divisional Commander of Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen is buried as well. (KNS)
