Anantnag, May 05 (KNS): Chief Judicial Magistrate Anantnag Friday issued non-bailable warrants against SHO Anantnag, Ayaz Geelani and Sub-Inspector Gowahar Malla in the case Er. Rasheed Versus Anantnag Police, regarding thrashing him at Khanabal on 2nd Dec 2016.
“Er. Rasheed pleaded before the court that neither has department taken any action against the accused police officers nor is police allowing his free movement in the state.”

Advocate Sanna, who is pleading the case of Er Rashid, told KNS that “Judge took strong cognizance of accused police officers for their absence in the court and issued non-bailable warrants against the accused police officers, to be executed by SSP Anantnag. The next date of hearing of the case has been fixed on May 26.” (KNS)
