Srinagar, May 07 (KNS): President EJAC Abdul Qayom Wani condemned the civilian killings in Shopian and other areas by security forces.
In a statement issued to KNS, Wani said that continuous bloodshed in Kashmir have shaken every person with human heart. He demanded immediate halt on civilian killings in Kashmir and appealed state, national and international human rights organizations civil societies and intellectuals to use their offices for immediate halt on civilian killings in Jammu and Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
President EJAC said that employees joint action committee showed strong protest against the innocent killings and demanded an independent inquiry into the incident to punish those involved in the civilian killings so that such incidents may not occur in further.
Wani along with all the leaders of EJAC showed sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls and speedy recovery of those injured in the incident. (KNS)
