Srinagar, June 18 (KNS): Civil Society Forum Kashmir expressed shock over the incident in which school teacher was not allowed to wear (ABAYA) in the holy month of Ramzan. It is a direct attack on the religious rights of an individual. Civil Society Forum of Kashmir in very strong words condemn such incidents.
Government and Education Minister in particular have to ensure no such incidents happen in future. On the same line tomorrow if some teacher is stopped from wearing (SAREE) by any individual or institute the whole system and Government would flame up in fire, but it is very unfortunate when a Muslim woman is deprived of her religious and moral rights the whole system and society sleeps over it in such a way as if nothing has happened.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Education Minister should issue immediate circular to all the educational institutes, whether private or government that there should be legally no restriction on the religious rights of any individual belonging to any faith and if government fails to issue such circular than society should consider it as unfortunate/ planned policy of the Government and Education Department.
