Civil Defence Mock Drill Scheduled in Kashmir to Boost Emergency Preparedness

Srinagar, May 6 (KNS): In a bid to bolster emergency response capabilities, the Directorate of SDRF & Civil Defence Kashmir has announced a comprehensive Civil Defence Mock Drill scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 4:00 PM across various locations in the region.


The drill aims to assess and enhance the preparedness of civil defence teams and emergency services in the event of natural or man-made disasters. As part of the simulation, sirens will be activated to test public alert systems and response coordination among key agencies.
