Srinagar, Oct 08 (KNS): Authorities on Saturday evening placed Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest ahead of civic polls in Kashmir.
“A heavy contingent of police arrived at Mirwaiz Manzil Nigeen & placed him under house arrest”, said a spokesman.
