Jammu, Jan 02 (KNS): Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) has expressed grief over the tragic fire incident at Nashari in Ramban district in which 10 laborers lost their lives and many others were injured.
In a statement to KNS, State President CITU and MLA Kulgam Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami asked the administration to take the incident as an eye opener and take immediate steps to make the temporary stay places of these workers fireproof.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Demanding adequate compensation to the victim families, he said that the compensation announced by the government is meager. He also urged the government to provide employment to one member of the victim family and free treatment to the injured. (KNS)
