Jammu 28 April (KNS): Senior BJP and KP Leader Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo thanked LG led Administration for exceeding his request over the imposition of Mini Lockdown in UT of J&K.

Chrungoo in a letter to chief secretary BVR Subramaniam which reads, "Covid19 related situation is slowly slipping out of hands, though under control yet. It would be in order to review and revaluate the situation. Is it not the right time to think about a complete lockdown for a week to break the chain. We have lot of good experiences of the past year in this connection".

"Kindly take a view, my study, observation, research and experience compel me to suggest that a complete lockdown for the entire UT of JK has become unavoidable keeping in view yesterday's figures", it added.

The letter further reads, "I hope you would take my request seriously, 
I have also received certain feedback from a few Kashmir based parties also suggesting the same".

Notably, Complete Curfew has been imposed in 11 districts in J&K from tomorrow 7 pm till Monday 7 am amid a spike in Covid Positive cases.(KNS)
