Jammu, Aug 23 (KNS): Senior leader and in charge of political feedback wing of J&K BJP, Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo on Monday accused People’s Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti of instigating people of Kashmir to create law and order situation to damage peace and normalcy in the UT under the garb of Taliban developments in Afghanistan.

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Chrungoo said that it is rediculous on the part of a former chief minister and the head of a political party to issue such irresponsible statements that have potential of treason and sedition. 

“Such a reckless speech before the party activists and the public is tantamount to rebellion against the constitution and the nation. It is strange that the Kashmir centric leaders are issuing such statements while their own kith and kin are well settled in other cities and foreign lands,” he said.

He said that it is absolutely absurd to equate Afghanistan and Taliban situation to Kashmir. “Her statements can lead her to legal complications as well.”

Chrungoo also lambasted the advisers of Navjot Singh Sidhu, Punjab Congress leader for their unrealistic and malicious statements in regard to Kashmir. 

He said that these Congress leaders have no locus standi about Jammu and Kashmir, while praising the Chief Minister of Punjab, Amrinder Singh for his redicule against these Congress leaders on the issue. (KNS)
