BEIJING, May 7 (KNS): China has urged both India and Pakistan to exercise maximum restraint in the interest of regional peace and stability, following fresh military tensions between the two countries.
The appeal came after Indian armed forces conducted missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on Wednesday morning.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe strikes were in retaliation for the recent terror attack in Pahalgam.
“We are concerned about the ongoing situation. India and Pakistan are and will always be each other’s neighbours. They are both China’s neighbours as well,” China’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.(KNS)
