Chinar Corps honours young achievers

Srinagar, Nov 14 (KNS) : Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at Badami Bagh Cantonment, under the aegis of Chinar Corps. The event brought together students from various schools across the Kashmir Valley, reaffirming the importance of nurturing the dreams and potential of the nation’s youngest citizens.

Chinar Corps Commander alongwith Zonal President AWWA interacted with the young and aspiring children who were vibrant in expressing their new outlook of Kashmir. They warmly engaged with the students, encouraging them to pursue excellence, uphold moral values and contribute meaningfully to the development of the nation, while also lauding their resilience, talent and aspirations, emphasising that children of Kashmir are the true torchbearers of peace and progress in the region.

As part of the event, Chinar Corps felicitated 27 outstanding achievers (Principals/ Teachers and Students) from Army Goodwill Schools and Army Goodwill Public School for their outstanding performance in National level sports and innovation contests bringing laurels to Kashmir Valley, including Young Scientist awards from ISRO and AGS Wuzur and AGS Bandipora who won the ARISE awards at National level among 2200 schools across India.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The awards were a recognition of their hard work, perseverance and spirit of excellence. The felicitation ceremony aimed to inspire young minds to strive for similar distinction in their chosen fields. The children’s infectious energy and enthusiasm filled the venue, transforming the day into a celebration of hope, unity and youthful spirit.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a message of encouragement from the Chinar Corps, reaffirming its resolve to continue supporting and motivating the young generation to dream big and work hard towards a brighter, harmonious future for Kashmir and contribute towards Nation Building.(KNS)
