Srinagar, Jan 02 (KNS): Additional director general of Police for Jammu region, Mukesh Singh on Monday said that a child was killed and five other people suffered injuries after a blast took place in Rajouri area of Jammu region.
He said that the blast took place near the house of the first firing incident where yesterday 4 persons were killed and several others injured in a targeted attack by militants near a temple in the Rajouri.
In the blast now, he said that five persons were injured and one child has succumbed to injuries while another is critical.
Requesting the media personnel to be cautious at the incident spot, he said that another suspected IED has been spotted which is being cleared.
Notably, the ADGP along with divisional commissioner Jammu and IG CRPF have reached the spot. (KNS)
