Anantnag, Feb 09 (KNS) : Chief Warden Civil Defence Anantnag, Tasaduq Rashid (senior journalist) on Thursday convened a meeting with Deputy Controller Civil Defense Anantnag, DySP Zubair Ahmad Malik, who recently assumed the charge as Deputy controller civil Defence Anantnag .
During the meeting, the Chief Warden Civil Defence Anantnag said there is need to encourage volunteers of Civil Defence, Wardens and others for combating natural and unnatural calamities. Some issues were discussed threadbare regarding overall activities of Civil Defence Anantnag for the overall welfare and development of the community.
Deputy Controller Civil Defence Anantnag Town at the occasion assured that all genuine issues and concerns will be looked into and all civil defence wardens and volunteers will be encouraged for creating vibrant environment on carrying out Civil Defence Activities in Anantnag.
He also added that Civil Defence volunteer plays a vital role in natural and unnatural disasters, so need of the hour is to make them skillful and equip them with modern technologies.
Chief Warden Civil Defence Anantnag thanked Civil Defence Anantnag unit , District administration Anantnag, Police and People for extending full cooperation and support. (KNS)
