Srinagar, Feb 20 (KNS): The residents of Charar-e-shareef Saturday set ablaze their ration cards as a mark of protest against the recently implemented NFSA law in the state.
The protesters assembled at the main road of the area and blocked the main road. The protesters according to the eye-witnesses set ablaze their ration cards.
The protesters said that the recently implemented has not accommodated the aspirations of people here.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“The ration quota provided by the CAPD to us is not enough to survive. It is better to set ablaze the ration cards as the ration cards are no more valuable to us,” they said.
The protesters were chanting slogans against the CAPD department and were demanding rollback of NFSA law in Jammu and Kashmir. (KNS)
