Budgam October 29 (KNS): Chairman District Development Council Budgam Nazir Ahmad Khan on Saturday inaugurated a newly constructed Govt High School Building at Chanowpora , Beerwah. The high school building constructed at the cost of 1.62 crores was today dedicated to the public in a function organised by the School Education Department .
Nazir Ahmad Khan on the occasion said that district administration along with DDC Council is committed to complete all languishing projects in the district. He further impressed upon SMAGRA & other executing agencies to expedite the work going on various buildings.
Chairman DDC Budgam also visited Sonpah & Arwah villages to participate in the ongoing Back to Village programmes. He also distributed land passbooks among the various farmers at Arwah village. He urged visiting officers to include all pressing demands in their suggestions and give due preference to PRI members during their stay in the villages.
Chairman DDC Budgam was also accompanied by ADDC Budgam, CEO Budgam, PRI members, ZEO Beerwah, PRI members & other senior officers of the School Education Department.(KNS)
