‘207 cases settled on the spot’

Srinagar, Oct 26 (KNS): Defence accounts department of Beacon held a two-day GREF Adalat at Beacon headquarters here on 25 and 26 October which was inaugurated by Veena Prasad, lDAS, CGDA.
Prasad conducted the proceedings of the Adalat along with Mr. R.K. Nayak, IDAS, PCDA (BR) and Brig Vishal Agrawal, Chief engineer.
Aimed at resolving the grievances and issues of pay and allowances of GREF officers and personal and to provide immediate relief to them, 207 cases were settled on the spot.
Prasad in her inaugural address highlighted core issue of her personal visit to redress pay and allowances issues of GREF personnel and to boost morale of the troops who are deployed in a very difficult, far-flung and snow-bound areas of the Kashmir Valley.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The CGDA interacted with the officers and personnel of Project Beacon and praised their efforts and exhorted them to continue the good work.
She held detailed discussion with Chief engineer Project beacon to resolve the various outstanding issues.
R.K. Nayak, IDAS, PCDA (BR) addressed the troops and apprised them purpose for conducting the Adalat.
Sanjay H Sansare, IDAS DCDA, PAO GREF apprised the troops about the latest steps being taken by their office to redress the grievances of the GREF Personnel in a shortest possible time. (KNS)
