Kupwara, July 28 (KNS): The education department organised a mega cleanliness drive at Vilgam area of Kupwara district.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the drive was flagged off by Chief Education Office CEO Ab Hamid and other officers including Deputy Chief Education Office, Principal Higher secondary school Vilgam.

As many as hundreds of students also participated in the drive and cleaned the local area.

Addressing the school students, CEO kupwara highlighted the importance of cleanliness among the budding generation in general and common masses in particular.

CEO Kupwara also appealed to the local people of Vilgam area to make their area plastic and garbage free. Meanwhile the locals of the area hail the efforts of education department and thanked CEO Kupwara for organising such a mega cleanliness drive in their area.(KNS).
