Centre must come clean over Satya Pal Malik’s allegations: CPI(M)

Srinagar, April 18 (KNS): The Communist Party of India (Marxist) has demanded that the BJP government must come clean and answer all the serious allegations raised by former governor of Jammu & Kashmir Satya Pal Malik.


In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a spokesperson said the allegation regarding Pulwama attack in which 40 CRPF jawans lost their lives is a serious matter which concern the security of the country. 

“No lapses in safeguarding our national security can be brooked. The allegations regarding the manner in which Article 370 and 35-A were abrogated and the J&K state was dissolved into two Union Territories are equally serious.” 

It reads the Modi government’s silence on these issues has very grave implications for the national security, unity and integrity of India. 

“Modi government must respond to these allegations in the interest of our national security and Constitutional sanctity and it cannot remain silent,” it reads. (KNS)
