Srinagar August 19 (KNS):  Central Govt Pensioners welfare association kashmir(CGPWA:k) in an on-line emergent meeting has condoled the demise of its basic,  founder member & General Secretary G N Kant (IAS rtd) who left for his heavenly abode early morning on Thuruday at his residence Hyderpora. Meeting chaired by President Mr MS Pandit recalled his services to public in various capacities as an able administrator & in particular his dedication in establishing CGPWA kashmir chapter.His untiring efforts in organising the Pensioners & collecting of data from various banks only shows his complete dedication to service of mankind.

Members also remembered his follow up a case against BSNL authorities in consumer court which he pleaded single handidly   and won later which was not his personal but for common subscribers.

His death has definitely caused a vacum which will not be easy to fill but   says Al-Quran....EVERY SOUL HAS TO TASTE DEATH ...Kant sahab also completed his time & left after a brief spell of illness..

Prayers lead by secretary were offered for the departed soul & condolences & sympathies were expressed for the bereaved family.May Allah grant him place in Jannat ul Firdaus..Aameen.(KNS)
