In a statement to Kashmir News Service (KNS), President CCIK Tariq Rashid Ghani said one of the main religious body has been left to fend for itself owing to Government's apathy towards the Waqf Board as a result the management at major shrines in the Valley are facing problems.
Ghani said it is ironic that Government is not paying any heed to this body which is looking into the management of shrines which are the symbols of Kashmir's great and rich culture and history besides religious obligations

Ghani appealed to LG Administration to appoint Charman to the Waqf Board so that these historic religious places don't face official neglect.
