Srinagar, April 20 (KNS): Candidates of the Revenue Department who intended to appear in Revenue Service  (Executive) Departmental Examination have appealed the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission to extend the date for submission of departmental examination forms. 

Speaking to KNS, candidates said that Public Service Commission under Notification no PSC/EXAM/2021/19 dated 08/03/2021  invited applications for Revenue Service  (Executive) Departmental Examination for which last date for submission of online  Examination was 14/04/2021. 

However, a lot of eligible backlog candidates couldn't submit online Examination forms as a result of their previous examination (Year 2019-20) was declared on 09/04/2021.

Thus there was only 05 days gap during which they failed to fulfil all the necessary formalities required for submission of online forms as there are dozens of border and remote areas in the state where there is no internet facility and candidates have to travel towards towns and cities for submission of online forms after availing leave for many days from their offices, they said.

"Thus 05 days of time proved insufficient for backlog candidates to submit examination forms," they added.
The candidates have appealed for extension in the date for submission of online forms.

While talking to controller examination, public service Commission, (PCR) he told to KNS, that i will raise it with my seniors, and if there is anything genuine we can assist, we will do that, he added.(KNS)
