Kulgam, Feb 8 (KNS): Once again, a social networking site, Facebook has come under news for flashing erroneous piece against a higher up.
A local from Noorabad who is believed to be the activist of former Social Welfare Minister and NC leader, Sakeena Itoo has flashed news on social networking site reads that MLA Noorabad, Abdul Majeed Padar has allotted a hut to his son, which later proved untrue.
Dar Feroz, a resident of Noorabad flashed news on his wall saying that MLA has allotted hut to his son what can a local expect from him as he is giving benefits to his son instead of locals.
Block Development Officer (BDO), Ishtiyaq Ahmad told KNS correspondent that they investigated the matter seriously and the news flashed by the locasl has been proved untrue.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“It is Nawaz son of Abdul Majeed Padar while as MLA son is Shahnawaz. It is the confusion of name nothing else,” he said.
“The person who has been given hut is local of the district having six children. He has three daughters, three sons and belongs to a poor family and was not having safe residential place due to which a hut was given to him,” he said.
He informed that they also registered a case in Police station Damhal Hanjipora against the accused for flashing untrue news on social networking site. (KNS)
