Srinagar, Jul 07 (KNS): Anjuman Shari Shian Friday organized a Majlis Hussaini at Khanpeth area of North Kashmir’s Pattan town, however due to police restrictions on the movement of Anjuman Shari Shian president Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi, he could not attend the conference.
According to the statement issued to KNS, thousands of people participated in the Hussaini conference who equivocally condemned the house arrest of Aga Syed Hasan. Aga Syed Hasan could not offer Friday congregational prayers due to his house arrest at his Budgam based residence.
During the conference, tributes were paid to the martyrs of Kashmir Valley.
Spokesman said that the role of Burhan Wani was lauded and tributes were paid to him. The restrictions on the movement of people and sealing of Tral town were condemned.
A spokesperson of Anjuman Shari Shian while condemning the house arrest of Anjuman Shari Shian leader Aga Syed Hasan said that such tactics can’t break the resolve of the people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said that random arrests and curfew can’t cowdown the people of Kashmir.
Meanwhile, paying tributes to Burhan Wani, Anjuman Shari Shian president and senior separatist leader Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi said that Burhan was a force to reckon who gave life to Kashmir Freedom Struggle.
He said that Burhan lives in the hearts of people and stopping them from observing his anniversary shows the level of frustration of the present government.
He also said that without the resolution of Kashmir issue, peace will not prevail in the subcontinent.
Aga said that Kashmir is a political issue that needs to be resolved as per the aspirations of the people. (KNS)
