Handwara, Dec 11 (KNS): Burglars on the intervening night of Thhrusday-Friday attempted to loot Jammu and Kashmir Bank Branch Qalamabad in north Kashmir's Handwara.

According to reports Burglars attempted to loot the bank and damaged some property of the Bank.

An official of JK bank confirmed the incident to KNS and said , they (Burglars) attempted to loot the bank however they didn't got success.

He said the burglars took the security guard inside the Bank and tied his hands.

Meanwhile, a police officer said that thieves make an attempt however, nothing has been stolen in the bank and said case in this regard has been registered and investigation has set into motion (KNS)
