Burglars strike several shops in Sopore

Sopore, Sep 04 (KNS): Several Shops were looted by burglars in Apple town Sopore in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.

Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service said goods worth lakhs has been taken from various shops in the town.

According to reports burglars looted the shops of Fayaz Ahmad Shah, John Muhamad Parray and Muhammad Iqbal Rather at Main chowk Sopore and decamped with valuables worth lakhs.

In a similar incident, two mobile selling shops at Iqbal market and one electronic shop at Tehsil road Sopore were also looted.
A police official said they have no cognizance of these burglary incidents and investigation has been taken up.

Sopore Economic Alliance President, Haji Muhammad Ashraf Ganaie urged the administration and police to check these incidents and book the culprits under law. (KNS)
