Srinagar, Sep 24 (KNS): Burglars have allegedly decamped with valuables worth lakhs from M-1 Govt quarter allotted to a journalist, Shamim Ahmad Beig in Magarmal Bagh area of Srinagar.
The journalist who is actual resident of Anantnag had gone to his home in South Kashmir on Sep 21 and came back on Sep 23.

Meanwhile, Beig lodged a complaint at Police Station Shergadi following which the police officials headed by Station House officer (SHO) visited the spot and registered a case in this regard.
Police officials said that the investigation into the matter has been started. (KNS)
