Bandipora, Mar 05 (KNS): Burglars on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday broke into a residential house in the Tawheed Abad area of Bagh locality in Bandipora district in an attempt to loot jewellery.
Local residents told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the burglary happened when the inmates were not present in the house.
They said that the house belongs to one Zahoor Ahmad Shah and stated that the burglars had smashed a windowpane and sneaked in an attempt to loot jewellery.
Meanwhile, the house owner has informed the police to take cognisance of the matter, while the locals demanded that burglars be nabbed as soon as possible. (KNS)
