Srinagar, Jan 25 (KNS): Former minister and MLA Amirakadal Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has expressed deep shock and grief over demise of prominent social activist, Peer Ghulam Nabi Khaki, who passed away at his residence in Peerzo-Lal Chowk today.
Bukhari has expressed solidarity with Peer Wajahat, son of Late Khaki who heads PDP ward committee in Lal Chowk. The former minister described Late Khaki as a thorough gentleman who has left behind indelible marks as a social activist and a philanthropist.

The MLA Amirakadal observed that the void created by the demise of Khaki is hard to be filled and prayed for endurance for the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, on the directions of Bukhari, a delegation from his private office headed by Mohammad Ashraf Dar, PDP Zone President Amirakadal, visited Late Khaki’s residence and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. The delegation also visited the residence of Mohammad Shafi Wani of Check Rawalpora whose mother passed away and whose Chahrum was observed today. (KNS)
