Srinagar June 03 (KNS) : Jammu Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has extended his warm greetings to the Haj Pilgrims of Jammu and Kashmir who are all set to leave for Jeddah in batches from Sunday.  

 
In a statement issued to KNS, Bukhari while congratulating the J&K’s Haj pilgrims said, “This pious journey is a cherished desire of every Muslim, and the Almighty has chosen you to undertake this most sacred pilgrimage this year. My heartfelt greetings to you all. May Allah's blessings be with you and guide you and strengthen your iman (faith).”
 
Bukhari also appealed to the pilgrims to pray for peace in J&K while performing Hajj. 
He said, “Please pray for the peace and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir, wherein bloodshed and the killing of human beings have become the order of the day. The way we pray for our safety and a better future, we must pray for the restoration of peace, prosperity, harmony, and brotherhood of our homeland as well. Peace and harmony in this region is of utmost importance for the better future of its citizens. Thus, we must pray for it.”
 
JKAP president urged the administration to ensure smooth and hassle-free arrangements for the Haj aspirants here, and in Jeddah as well.(KNS)
