Srinagar, Jan 01 (KNS): The Budget session begins on January 2 (Monday) in an expectedly atmosphere of intimidation and hate, with the Opposition parties all set to corner the PDP-BJP coalition government over the West Pakistan Refugees (WPR) issue, the five months long unrest in Kashmir that led to over 95 civilian killings and other number of issues.
The controversial issues of domicile certificates to WPRs and Supreme Court verdict on SARFAESI Act are casting doubt whether any meaningful businesses are possible in this crucial session.

According to Secretary J&K Legislative Assembly, 14 bills have been received which will be tabled while there are 22 pending bills. He said the pending bills are from the private members which will be taken into consideration for passing.
Similarly, he said 106 resolutions have been submitted by the different members of the house.
In total, there are 1154 questions submitted by 63 members of the house out of which 631 are starred questions while 524 are unstarred questions, he said. (KNS)
