Srinagar, Feb 28 (KNS): Border Security Force on Monday airlifted four patients to the district headquarters Kupwara from snow-bound Tangdhar sector for medical attention.

 

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that on request of Kupwara district administration, BSF evacuated four patients due to the closure of Karnah-Kupwara road that passes through Sadna Top. 

 

Karnah-Kupwara road remains closed for vehicular movement during winter months due to heavy snowfall in the area. 

 

Meanwhile, IG BSF Kashmir, Raja Babu Singh said that looking after the well being of Kashmiri people is their topmost priority and they are here to win hearts and minds of local populace through benevolent and compassionate deeds. (KNS
