Uri, Mar 07 (KNS): BSF, 63 Bn on Monday held a program in connection with celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Mohura area of north Kashmir's Uri.

 

During the program front line workers were felicitated under the theme : Desh ki Hifazat, Desh ki Suraksha. At the occasion Mukesh Tyagi Comdt 63 Bn BSF, Dr Bablesh Kumar CMO (SG), along with BSF troops received Dr. Mir Mohammed Ramzan, BMO URI and Dr Parvez Masoodi, BMO Boniyar and their team of 20 Front line warriors from PHC Uri, PHC Boniyar and PHC Mohura at 63 Bn Tac HQ Mohura.

 

The team was welcomed by Commandant 63 Bn BSF and during the interaction the zeal and commitment of medical teams in successful vaccination of all available BSF troops against Corona and the cooperation of the medical staff in time of needs was highly appreciated by BSF.

 

In turn the medical team also praised the gesture shown by BSF battalion in recognising their efforts and specially mentioned the concern and cooperation shown by BSF.

 

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Parvez Masoodi BMO Boniyar with handing over of memento by BSF to BMO Uri and BMO Boniyar as a token of gratitude.(KNS)
