Srinagar, Apr 11 (KNS): Authorities on Tuesday ordered restoration of the BSNL broadband service which was shut down on April 9 midnight but the mobile internet is yet to be restored.
Internet service was suspended in Kashmir Valley since midnight of April 8 due to by-polls in Srinagar parliamentary constituency on April 9.
“I have ordered restoration of broadband service in Kashmir. I will take a review meeting in which we will decide about restoration of mobile internet service,” Director General of Police Dr. S P Vaid told KNS.
“I don’t feel comfortable in imposing curfew and shutting down internet, but some elements with nefarious designs forces me to do so,” the DGP said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
