Srinagar, Feb 22 (KNS): Chief Education Officer Baramulla has assured a stern action against a clerk and a peon facing charges of working in connivance with each other for demanding bribe in view of clearing files, pending disposal at Zonal Education Office Singhpora (Delina) Baramulla.
The assurance from Chief Education Officer has come in response to the complaints from aggrieved teachers who accuse a clerk and a peon of demanding bribe for clearing the pending files at the said Zonal Education office.
Confirming that they have formally lodged a complaint with the Chief Education Officer Baramulla the aggrieved teachers told KNS that the clerk, peon and some other officials posted at Zonal Education Office Singhpora (Delina) Baramulla abuse them and keep pending files for months together and without paying bribe not files cleared by them.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
It has been learnt that the clerk facing bribery allegations has been left untouched for the last 12 years at the said Zonal Education Office. (KNS)
